Bizagi Announces Winners of its First Global Community Hackathon

- Top entries selected out of submissions from across the globe

NEW YORK, NY - JAN 28, 2020 – Bizagi congratulates the winners of its first global community hackathon. In the context of a challenging year for businesses globally, Bizagi has seen a great swell of creativity from within its community of customers, partners and users. The hackathon presented a unique opportunity for members of Bizagi’s global community to demonstrate just what they could do. The Bizagi community of process professionals includes millions of users from many thousands of companies in more than 60 countries.

Participants were invited to submit entries to three categories with the chance of winning cash prizes. Selecting from a range of strong entries from across the globe, Bizagi is pleased to announce the following winning submissions:

Most Innovative Experience-Centric Process:
Team ImagineTEC – Task Reassignment from Stakeholder View

The ImagineTec Team, composed of Stoyan Vodev and Valeriu Bosneaga, developed a project that allows Bizagi customers to manage Task Reassignment in a new way. As a starting point, they used one of Bizagi’s Process Templates available in the Bizagi Xchange (Claims and Complaints).

The team created an experience-centric process that contains an option to reassign a task from a Stakeholder search or the Me menu. Once a user searches for cases, he/she will have a choice to do a Task Reassignment selecting a different user, a group of users, or even a Role. Once the reassignment is performed, the process will send a notification to the new users assigned. Each reassignment is traceable.

Most Innovative Connector:
Hitesh Patel, Nividous – Bizagi Excel To Collection Connector

Hitesh Patel from Bizagi partner Nividous, created a powerful and innovative Connector. The Excel To Collection Connector allows users to add multiple items from an Excel file into a Collection in Bizagi. This connector has numerous use cases for our community and saves a lot of time in process implementation. The connector is easy to use, and it can be reused in multiple scenarios without any additional coding.

Most Innovative Widget:
Team Nividous – 3D Viewer Widget

Team Nividous win twice having also created the winning widget! The Team, composed of Hardik Pate, Jagdish Bhanushali, Hitesh Patel, and Yogi Thanki, created a powerful a 3D Viewer Widget. It allows users to compare multiple items in a single place. The use case presented corresponds to a Mobile Features comparison, where a user wants to compare and see the difference between the features of different devices. The 3D Viewer is a great approach to offer this experience in Bizagi. The Widget is easy to configure and provides options to set up the look & feel according to the user's needs.

“We are continually inspired by the innovation and enthusiasm of our community” noted Gustavo Gomez, Bizagi’s CEO. “Bizagi’s users have always been at the heart of our product roadmap and we love to see the community share functionality that can help another user on the opposite side of the globe to do even more with the Bizagi platform.”
