Bizagi can be used to automate processes across business functions including:
Bizagi acts as a global orchestrator, driving end-to-end business process execution across various systems and devices. It provides an agile process layer that integrates with both modern and legacy systems. Bizagi supports direct data-level integration with external databases via Replication, enabling automatic data sharing. It also exposes native SOAP and OData/REST APIs for programmatic access.
Bizagi offers three SOAP Web Services APIs for inbound application-level integration to manage business process instances, data model entities, and custom reports. It supports SQL Server for data replication and provides custom data provider APIs. Bizagi's service-oriented architecture allows external applications to start processes, update information, and trigger events.
Bizagi ensures secure and functional connections through rigorous testing and annual penetration testing. It supports two-way data exchange via web services, APIs, and connectors, including out-of-the-box connectors for systems like SAP and Salesforce. Bizagi's API provides programmatic access to business information and process data, supporting both SOAP and RESTful services.
Bizagi offers a graphical environment where developers can define and manage business rules easily and intuitively. With our powerful Business Rules Engine, users can design from the simplest to the most complex business rules.
Rules can be defined as:
• Route work: This involves controlling the sequence flow to define which path a process must follow according to specific business conditions. For example, if a travel request is approved, the process will proceed with the flight booking. Otherwise, the system will notify the rejection.
• Automate actions (events): This entails executing the necessary procedures when performing a task, such as validations and calculations. For instance, when an employee reports the expenses made on a business trip, the total value of expenses must be automatically calculated.
• Manage the user interface: This involves making form controls visible, required, or read-only to avoid errors in the information entered into processes. For example, if a travel request is rejected, the rejection comments control must be visible and required. Otherwise, they must be hidden.
• Allocate users: This involves defining the conditions that users must comply with to be allocated to a task. For instance, if a claim is related to invoicing, it must be assisted by a customer service agent specialized in invoicing claims.
Bizagi provides fully configurable work allocation criteria, allowing process designers to configure how tasks are assigned to individual end users or amongst a team or group. These criteria are combined with the following four basic assignment methods:
Basic Assignment Methods
• Everyone: Tasks are given to all the users satisfying the configurable criteria.
• By Load: The task is assigned to the user with the lowest workload or with the least “jobs pending” on the project.
• Sequential: Each task is assigned even-handedly and sequentially among the users who satisfy the assignment criteria, regardless of their workload.
• First Available: Tasks are assigned to the user who will first be available according to the time zone associated with that user.
Bizagi offers comprehensive run-time management indicators to monitor and optimize business process performance. The Process Analytics module in Bizagi Automation provides real-time graphic tracking and monitoring. Key data points include actual versus expected process duration, costliest processes or activities, task activation frequency, and SLA comparisons.
The system includes various reports such as Process BAM (Business Activity Monitoring), Task BAM, Resources BAM, Process Analytics, Task Analytics, and Sensors. Live Process Monitoring features include Graphic Query BAM Reports/Indicators and the ability to view detailed case information, such as user participation and timelines.
