Agentic Automation
Agentic automation uses AI-powered agents that can work autonomously to perform tasks as a human would. Unlike traditional automation, which relies on predefined rules and workflows
Agentic Workflows
AI Agents
AI Agents are specialized assistants, powered by Gen AI to perform specific tasks. AI Agents can be built using text-based prompts and generative AI. Once added to a business process, they can take autonomous actions including gathering data, connecting to external systems, triggering events and finding similar cases from past business data.
AI Workers
AI Workers extract information from documents and data within applications to prefill forms and present to a human worker to submit. They make judgment calls, share reasoning and analyze past user decisions, interactions, and corrections to improve their performance.
Ask Ada
Ask Ada is Bizagi’s AI Assistant within Bizagi Apps that allows end users to ask questions about business data to make faster, more informed decisions.

B

BOAT
Business Orchestration and Automation Technologies (BOAT) is a Gartner term defined as ‘a class of software technologies that enables enterprises to automate and orchestrate end-to-end business processes while connecting multiple enterprise systems of record via any applicable integration method.’

C

Case Management
Case management orchestrates people, data, documents, and actions to guide each case from start to finish. As the case moves through different stages like 'submitted', 'in review', or 'resolved’ the system tracks its state. Each state unlocks specific actions that help move the case forward towards resolution.
Center of Excellence

“A Center of Excellence provides an internal capability to an organization to deliver value to its customers, employees and other stakeholders by aligning people, processes and tools behind a unifying vision and mandate to support its organizational objectives.” Alex George, Bizagi Customer Success Vice President.

“They may be distributed across a number of different business units within the organization, but really the role is to make sure that the Center of Excellence is there to help scale and adapt the automation solutions by providing some kind of structure and governance and making sure that they're set up correctly. It is a vital component of any organization who want to realize digital transformation across their business.” - Scott Forrester, Bizagi Customer Success Director.

E

Enterprise Knowledge
Enterprise knowledge is a collection of company information from reference files, historical data, and external business systems.
Experience Matrix
The Bizagi Experience Matrix is a development interface that provides a single, easy to understand view of an app’s stakeholders, and their available information and activities. It allows developers to define personas, business objects, interactions and reports.

L

Long-Running Processes
Long-running processes are end-to-end workflows that remain active over time, pausing and resuming as they wait for people, systems, or events to move them forward. They are ideal for managing complex cases that span multiple steps, interactions, and systems without losing control of the process state.
Low-Code Development
Low-code development is the practice of creating enterprise applications using visual interfaces and configuration instead of traditional programming, business and IT users to design and build applications.

M

Master Data Management
Master Data Management (MDM) is a discipline that ensures a single source of truth for your customer, product, and vendor data. This helps to ensure data accuracy and consistency across your enterprise.
Model Context Protocol
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that enables AI systems to securely connect with external data sources and enterprise platforms in real-time. MCP provides a standardized way for AI models to interact with enterprise platforms, applications, and services without custom, one-off integrations.

P

Process Prioritization Matrix
Bizagi’s Process Prioritization Matrix evaluates processes across three key dimensions: business impact, business readiness, and development effort. Scoring potential processes across these areas helps you compare candidates for automation objectively and select the best place to start.

R

Reinforcement Learning
Reinforcement learning is the process of improving AI Workers performance by end users providing feedback and AI comparing original answers to those the end user changed, corrected or added.

S

Similarity Matching
Similarity matching allows AI Agents to use all past information and knowledge to identify what has worked in the past, provide personalized suggestions, and recommend actions that have proven successful.
