 Marketing Events Specialist
  North America
Brief job description The Marketing Events Specialist is a key role on the North America Marketing team and is focused on regional event strategy, planning, management, execution and analysis along with interfacing with the sales team on event execution. Events will include both physical and digital events, including tradeshows, executive roundtables, and webinars.
The ideal candidate will be an energetic marketing professional with a solid event management and CRM background and the ability to develop programs that align with our overall regional marketing objectives. Candidates must have strong organizational and project management skills, be an excellent communicator, work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and be able to multi-task on several projects simultaneously with on time and on budget results. Event management planning and execution includes promotion plan, booth design, exhibit/show management, staffing, vendor sourcing and management and pre-and post-show promotion, communications and reporting.

Effective event measurement and analysis is critical to event execution success. As lead nurturing is an integral part of events programs and demand generation, proficiency in CRM is essential.

  • Focus on event program management and event research, strategy, execution and reporting based on regional demand generation goals
  • Develop and deliver event strategy, project timelines, and event communications
  • Manage end-to-end participation at tradeshows, conferences, and regional seminars throughout the year; including contract negotiations, logistics, driving foot traffic, and staffing
  • Track and report events against quarterly and annual goals; monitor and analyze funnel and channel performance with the aim to identify gaps and propose solutions
  • Work collaboratively with marketing and sales teams to ensure success of events and webinar programs. Includes regular status communications and cadence on upcoming actions items and deliverables
  • Work closely with Business Development team on lead flow and follow-up to optimize program performance and generate qualified opportunities for the region
  • Travel – job requires ability to travel up to 40% of the time

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of event marketing and strategy experience in an enterprise software environment

RESPONSIBILITES

  • Lead business process improvement and BPMS projects from a technical perspective
  • Liaise with IT and development teams
