Bizagi, a leading provider of business process management (BPM) solutions, today announced that it has been awarded two Gold Awards for Excellence in BPM & Workflow.: one in the North American region and a second one in the Latin American region, making Bizagi the best BPMS vendor in the Americas in 2012.

The Global Awards for Excellence in BPM & Workflow, considered the most prestigious in the industry, are now in their 20th year. The awards are given to user organizations that have excelled in implementing innovative business process solutions to meet strategic business objectives. These two gold awards are in recognition of the implementation of Bizagi BPM Suite at Mars Canada Inc. and at Colpensiones Colombia.

Mars Canada Inc. implemented Bizagi to manage the introduction of new products to the market, developing mission critical process applications to help maintain a competitive edge in the fast moving consumer goods industry. Colpensiones is an organization created by the Colombian government to manage the country´s public pension system and has been engaged in order to replace the old and inefficient operation. It serves 6.5 million persons and more than one million pensioners across the country. Bizagi enabled Colpensiones to tackle the challenge of creating a new entity from scratch and automating more than 120 processes in record time, less than 9 months. The implementation of the BPM solution in Colpensiones has generated speed, agility and quality of service. Something never seen before in the country´s public pension system.
