Deploy to server/server requirements

Hi,

I'm using Bizagi XPress and I would like to deploy a single process to a web server. I hope you can help me with two questions:

1.) What are the requirements for the server. Is a ASP.NET capable server enough or do I need MySql?
2.) How exactly do I deploy the process. Do I first need to set something up on the server or can I deploy directly from Bizagi Studio? And how would I direct Bizagi to deploy to a specific server?

Deploying into your server is a simple procedure done through Bizagi Studio’s one click-deployment feature (http://wiki.bizagi.com/en/index.php?title=Deployment).

This does require having an IIS web server (Asp.net will not do for deployment, and MySQL is not required at all).

Two more questions I hope you cann help me with:
1.) I managed to set up the server and run Bizagi Xpress. The server ist a remote server, not within the same domain. Is it still possible to use the deploy feature of Bizagi? Or can I open a project running on the remote server with my local installation of Bizagi Xpress?

2.) I tried to customize the work portal for a project by changing color and logo. I applied the changes and clicked to "Use this theme". The Project is set to use IIS, but still the work portal remains unchanged. What can I do?

Concerning your questions,

You may open remote projects, previously having the authorization settings as shown at: http://wiki.bizagi.com/en/index.php?title=Work_on_a_remote_server .
If you want to deploy a project in a server outside of your domain, please review the following article of our knowledge base: http://kb.bizagi.com/KnowledgebaseArticle50121.aspx.

Regarding the customizations to the work portal, please check if the application pool’s credentials have full permissions to write into the project’s web application folder.

You may also want to restart your IIS services and clean up your browsers cache (CTRL + F5).
