For second year in a row BizAgi is recognized with the Global Awards for Excellence in BPM and Workflow; this time, infoCaja´s MiFID project got the Silver Award as one of the best BPM implementations in Europe.
The BPM solution implemented together with our partner Price Waterhouse Coopers in one of the most important institutions in the financial industry of Spain manages the client order handling process according to the MiFID directive.
Infocaja is a company offering shared services to its five affiliated banks (Cajastur, Caja Canarias, Castilla la Mancha, Caja Murcia and Caixa de Balears), and with BizAgi, it is able to service more than 5.500 users located at more than 2.500 branches in a multi-bank, individually administered environment (e.g., each bank can define and modify the MiFID tests and their validity).
According to Diego Marin, New Product Development Director of infoCaja, BizAgi together with PwC, delivered the automated process in less than 4 months and on time for the official start date of the initiative (1st of November 2007). Thanks to BizAgi, Infocaja´s affiliated banks were some of the first organization to technologically support the MiFID directive in Spain.
This prestigious global award was presented by Connie Moore, VP of BPM research at Forrester Research; the ceremony took place in Nashville, Tennessee on February 25, 2008.
